TWOTHREEFIVE would like to congratulate our own senior producer Davin Black on directing his first music video... Davin recently helmed a clip for east coast rapper Spesh K.. It should be on air in the next few weeks so stay tuned....

harv recently returned to Toronto from LA and has almost completed post on his feature... While he's still not finished "Kickin It Old Skool", rumors have the film being released early in 2007. Upon his return he directed 3 new clips, 2 for german rapper Raptile and 1 for east coast rapper Classified... The Class clip for "find out" is currently airing on Muchmusic so check it out.. You just might be in it...

Tons of fun shit coming up for the TWOTHREEFIVEFAMILY so stay tuned for more updates.....

...and the pace continues. We've been busy expanding: Chris Pavoni has been promoted to Producer working with Davin and Lyle to keep our shows on the value mark. Some of the more notable videos of the past few weeks include Anita's clips for Theresa Sokyrka of Canadian Idol fame, and the Miniatures for their track "Actors and Soldiers"; RT! put Dru, Malicious and Xzibit in the can this month, and Warren got travel time in shooting with George Canyon and Chris Young, while having some fun with the Chucky Danger Band in town.....but we simply can't slow down: we've got JDiggz, Talib Kweli, the Neverending White Lights and Big Black Lincoln on the books with RT!, another Protest the Hero clip coming from Marc Ricciardelli who has also been juggling the arrival of a new addition to his family this month (Congratulations to you sir from all of us of course!), and Erica will shoot for Eternia once she manages her insane schedule to land in town for longer than a week. 

Congratulations to Chris Pavoni, our Senior Production Assistant, who is this years recipient of the KODAK National Cinematography Apprenticeship for 2006 for Canada. Only one apprenticeship is awarded each year nationally to a graduating student of a Canadian Film School! Watch for an article featuring Chris in the upcoming September '06 issue of CSC magazine. ...and you can try and keep up with Erica Shallow as she keeps her show "Touch" available to the masses as a podcast downloadable from iTunes and youtube.com. As usual, Warren Sonoda's killing the CMT charts topping the list with his latest for Joe
Nichols, while RT! and Marc Ricciardelli are dominating the Much Music charts with their
latest clips for Neverending White Lights and Dallas Green's City and Colour, #'s 1 and 2
respectively this week.
Wait, there's more....latest word on MMVA nominations is that Kardinal and Massari are both
up for Best Canadian Artists - of course we did their videos too! ...and if you're going to the
NXNE festival, be sure to check out the VideoFACT screening night, Thursday June 08 at 7pm
at the Royal CInema a 608 College Street, where you'll see work from Harv, Marc Ricciardelli
and RT! - again, we're all over this one; and if you can't make that, you can also catch Anita
Doron screen her feature, starring Sarah Harmer, called "End of Silence", at the National Film
Board at 150 John Street.

Okay, I know, its been forever since we updated this site but damn have we been busy... Besides a whole shit load of videos that we have done recently there have been lots of exciting events in the 235world... It all started when Executive Producer Robert Wilson landed his first feature film as a director... The currently untitled horror film is in the editing suite now... Then Warren Sonoda who previously directed Ham And Cheese landed his second feature film, also a horror movie that wrapped last week and is now starting post production... And to cap it all of harv aka Harvey Glazer (remember that cause he's switching back) has landed his first feature film titled "Kickin It Old School". The film stars Jamie Kennedy....Kennedy will play Justin, an average pre-teen growing up in the mid-80's until a freak break dancing accident lands him in a coma. When he finally comes to, it is nearly twenty years later, and he must now learn to cope with the changes the world has gone through. harv is currently in pre-production in Vancouver with shooting to begin in January... Congrats go out to everybody at 235 who have made the leap into films and to all the music video directors who have made this our best year ever, keeping us at the top of the game in this country....

The 2005 Canadian Urban Music Awards nominations were announced today, congratulations go out to both harv and RT! who each received a nomination in the Music Video Of The Year category. RT! was nominated for Melanie Durrant Ft. Kardinal "Let Me Remix" while harv was nominated for Jully Black "Sweat Of Your Brow".

TWOTHREEFIVEFILMS and Warren P. Sonoda are proud to congratulate Amanda Wilkinson on her first solo NUMBER ONE VIDEO on CMT'S Chevy Top Twenty for "No More Me and You" (Universal South). Warren and Amanda also had another number one video for The Wilkinsons, "Little Girl". Currently "No More Me and You" is enjoying its second week at the top, marking Warren's seventh number one clip.

TWOTHREEFIVE director Marc Ricciardelli took home the award for Best Independant Video for his Alexisonfire - Accidents clip, congrats Marc from your TWOTHREEFIVEFAMILY. harv was spotted on the red carpet with Jamie Kennedy and the rumors are now flying.... Kalan Porter and his video for "Single" won the people's choice award for Best Canadian Artist, harv did both of Kalan's videos this year, congrats on the win Kalan from everybody at TWOTHREEFIVE... So it's 105 degrees in the office and this is what's happening.... It all started yesterday when Warren Sonoda helmed a video for Universal South recording artist "Erika Jo", as Warren finished his day he tagged in harv who will direct a new video for Sony/Bmg/Subword recording artist "Raptile" on Saturday night, harv passes it back to himself for tuesday when he helms the first clip from Tom Green's new album. Thats right, Tom Green of the Tom Green Show and Freddy Got FIngered fame has a new rap album coming out so check the o.r., harv then splits the ball in two and passes to both RT! and Marc Ricciardelli who both are shooting on thursday. RT! is directing a new clip for Sony/Bmg recording artist Shawn Desman and Marc is directing a clip for Victory Records recording artist "Silverstein". After thursday the ball miraculously bounces back together and slams right back into harv's hands as he directs his third video in 7 days for U.K rock act "Hydrous". Thank god the Much Music Video Awards are on Sunday because we are all going to need a seriously hard drink after this week....

A close friend of 235's, Andrew McMahon, lead singer of Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin, has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia. The TWOTHREEFIVEFAMILY sends their prayers and wishes to Andrew and we wish him a speedy recovery. Get well soon Andrew, our thoughts are with you......

Warren's video for Amanda Wilkinson "No More Me and You" was awarded the CMT HOTSHOT slot this week (the CMT equivalent of the MuchMusic "Big One") and is in heavy rotation. Warren is also gearing up to shoot a video for Universal South Recording Artist "Erika Jo" and her track "I Break Things" this week in Toronto.

harv had a busy week, he shot a video for Canadian Idol Kalan Porter last Tuesday and 2 videos for U.K Rockers InMe this weeked. The InMe videos were harv's 69th and 70th music videos. Congrats harv you are officialy a senior citizen in music video years.

Last Thursday night the 5th Annual Canadian Independent Music Awards show took place. TWOTHREEFIVE's very own Marc Ricciardelli took home the award for best music video for his amazing Alexisonfire "Accidents" clip. Congrats Marc from your TWOTHREEFIVEFAMILY.

Marc Ricciardelli's latest video for Alexisonfire "No Transitory" is THE MUCHMUSIC BIG ONE this week. For those not in the know, this means it will get more play than any other video in rotation for the next week. Congratulations go out to Marc and the band for another incredible video. The Japanese Cowboy Warren Sonoda partakes on a crazy bull ride this weekend shooting videos for both Maximum Records artist "Michael Carey" and True North Recording Artist "Joel Kroeker". The two videos will be Warren's 99th and 100th respectively, congratulations Warren from your TWOTHREEFIVEFAMILY for this unbelievable accomplishment, we will see you Sunday night for many, many drinks (for me that is, rumor has it Warren hits the floor after 2).

And just think, only 50 more videos and the Directors Guild of Canada will consider Warren as an applicant.

Warren is also currently working pre-production on his second feature film, which is scheduled to start shooting in March of this year.

In a continuing trend another 235 clip hits heavy at MuchMusic, the RT! helmed, JNATS & D.Black produced video for Masari Ft. Loon "Smile For Me" lands in heavy rotation this week and also enters the countdown at #29. Between RT! and harv, we currently have 9 videos in rotation on MuchMusic alone, including 4 in heavy rotation and 4 on the countdown. harv's Keshia Chante will move into the #10 spot next week, Kalan Porter "single" moves up 2 spots to #22 (moves up to #15 on MuchMoreMusic), Projet Orange drops to #26 and RT!'s latest enters at #29.

harv will be shooting the upcoming video for 604 Records recording artist "Tin Foil Phoenix". The video for the track "Ms. Genova" will be shot in the t-diddy-dizzle next weekend, February 12 and 13th. harv is also booked to shoot a video for the lovely and extremely talented Jully Black at the end of February. The video for the track "Sweat Of Your Brow" will be the debut track off of Miss Black's upcoming record. Let me tell you something, the name Jully Black will be a household name after this record drops, it is off the hook, and will be one to own, thats fo' sure. And you heard it here first. Warren Sonoda continues to demonstrate why he is one of Canada's top Country/AC music video directors, as he scores 2 videos on CMT'S TOP 50 OF 2005. Both THE WILKINSONS "Little Girl" (#26) and CHRIS CUMMINGS "Lucy Got Lucky" (#23) were Number One videos for Warren on CMT. His current video for THE WILKINSONS "Leaving Song" has just debuted on the CMT CHEVY TOP 20 and is gaining momentum on the chart, after already being a Number One video on their fan-voted Big 12 Countdown. Harv is also shooting RoadRunner recording artists High Holy Days this week. Also on harvs plate is an upcoming video for Choclair ft. Saukrates and Ro Dolla as well as new videos for Jully Black and DL Incognito. Chris grismer shot a hot new video for Death From Above and will be shooting videos for Metric and Robin Black and the IRS in the coming weeks so stay tuned for those. Hey everybody here are some 235 updates for you. Over the last week we shot 5 videos around here so things have been extremely hectic. RT! directed the new video for hip-hop artist "Bishop", Erica Shallow was at the helm for "Faith Walker", Joel Riley shot his 2nd video for toronto rapper "Skitz" and harv directed Ro-Dolla "Cosmoplitan" as well as Kid-Kut's "Party Anthem". The Kid-Kut video was harv's 50th video and there are rumors of one big ass party about to happen this thursday. harv also turned old this week so happy birthday to harv from the 235 family. The coming weeks of May are looking just as busy so stay tuned for more updates...

This saturday and sunday you can check out a bunch of TWOTHREEFIVE videos at the Reel World Film Festival in Toronto. harv's videos for Big Black Lincoln "Pimpin Life" and Live "Heaven" are in the music video segment of the festival along with Erica Shallow's video for Richie Rich and Tina Tell "Boy Like You". The TWOTHREEFIVE produced Aleks Syntek "Te Sone" video is also in the festival. Congrats kids....

It's been a while but here is the latest update from twothreefive land.

A ton of harv updates...harv is prepping to shoot a new video for UK rock sensation "InMe". This will be the 1st video off their new album and will be shot in Toronto at the end of this week. He has also just completed post on his new clip for The Miniatures and let me tell you, this video is hot...look for it to air in the coming weeks. In other harv news his video for Default's "Taking My Life Away" was number 1 last week on the muchmoremusic countdown and is currently at #4 on the muchmusic countdown where it looks like it could also hit the top spot. harv's video for "music" by BMG recording artist "Our Of Your Mouth" which is a hard ass cover of the Madonna track is also playing in heavy rotation on Much and Much Loud alongside his new Choclair video for the track "who dat is" which is more of a 70's rock video than a hip-hop video. Look for some harv vid's to be appearing in the Reel World Film Festival at the beginning of April in Toronto.

Congratulation go out to Warren Sonoda and Chris Grismer. Warren's first feature film "Ham and Cheese" has received a rave review in Variety and is garnering tons of attention on the festival circuit. Congrats Warren, as well Chris Grismer's video for the Fembots is being featured this week at the sxsw film festival. Chris has recently signed to the William Morris Agency. Congrats Chris.

Last Friday harv shot a new video for Maple Music Recording Artists "The Miniatures". If you haven't heard this band yet, don't worry, you will. Their name might be small but their music sounds big and your going to love them. The video which is a post heavy performance vid will be completed in the coming weeks...

Things are up and running at 235films and 2004 looks like it is turning out to be another amazing year. Last week saw harv shooting a new video for Canadian hip-hop star Choclair and this friday he is helming a new video for Bmg artist "Out Of Your Mouth", to be followed up by videos for "Kid-Cut" and "Ro-Dolla" in the coming weeks. Big Brother are also busy this week shooting a new video for Mexican artist Syntek. As well Chris Grismer is back at it again this coming Monday with a fresh new video for "The Fembots".

Just a quick update, harv's commercial spot for Fox's Biscuits, entitled "Rocky R", has received the award for Best Biscuit Commercial from The Grocer Magazine in the U.K. (that means Best Cookie Commercial to us North Americans). None of us at 235films are quite sure what any of this really means. The commercial, which features a bird that raps about cookies, is super word dope fresh and if you haven't seen it you’re really missing out. Good going harv keep corrupting the minds of young children everywhere.

In other news harv will be directing a new video for BMG Recording Artist Raptile ft. Xzibit. The video, which is a co-direction between harv and his D.P Brendan Steacy, is being shot this week in Los Angeles.

Things have been pretty insane around the 235 think tank these past couple of weeks (imagine that). Here are some updates.

harv went to Vancouver and shot the new video for the hit single "Taking My Life Away" by TVT Recording Artist "Default". The video which hits the airwaves this week will be playing in heavy rotation on Much, MuchMore and MuchLoud no word on the U.S release as of yet. The default video has also charted on the MuchMusic and MuchMore Music countdowns along with harv's video for Hawksley Workman that also charted on MuchMore Music this week. harv also recently shot the new "Len" video (yes their still around, and the track is great!). harv also has a couple of new videos in the works, stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks.

Warren Sonoda recently hopped into a twin prop plane with a D.O.P and a Producer and flew to Northampton, Massachusetts to shoot another video for the legend "Bruce Cockburn". Warren had a lovely business meeting with a barf bag on the way there, but managed to regain his composure and shoot another beautiful video.

Chris Grismer fresh off of directing episodes of every television show now shooting in Canada hopped back into the music video world with a new video for "Nasri". Chris and Nasri's last effort received incredible airplay on MuchMusic, MuchMore and MuchVibe.

harv was back in action last week helming a winner of a video for Universal Recording Artist Hawksley Workman. The video for the track "We Will Still Need A Song" was shot over two days in Toronto. Released first in France the video is currently in Heavy and seeing 50 spins a week, a North American release is expected in the coming weeks. harv is also finishing up production on a video for U.K based singer songwriter Rachel Mari Kimber. harv's Solitair video for "Me, You & The World" has finally been released to MuchMusic and MTV watch for it starting to spin this week. "Me, You & The World" is harv's second video with Solitair, the first being "Easy To Slip" which was nominated for a Muchmusic video award.

Warren Sonoda has wrapped up a couple of crazy weeks of shooting with "Amy Sky" which was shot at the Left Bank this week in Toronto. This caps a good run for Warren with videos by Chris Cummings, Teri Clark & Craig Young already on air.

Newbie 235 director Erica Shallow has recently completed her first video for Richie Rich ft. Tina Tell. The video is now playing on Muchmusic and Much Vibe. Great Job Erica and welcome to the boys club.

Warren is currently gearing up to shoot three videos in the next few weeks. He will be helming videos for Chris Cummings, Craig Young & Terri Clark as well as Amy Sky. Stay tuned for more Warren updates...

Chris Grismer has recently shot Nasri, Broken Social Scene, 2 videos for the Fembots as well as a video for National Anthem.

Warren Sonoda shot the latest video from Canadian legend "Bruce Cockburn" in New York City and has just completed his second video for Clark Nova.

Virgin Director Sean Littlejohn shot his first video last month for White Cowbell Oklahoma.
